Mr. Wil Berry has been involved in the education of young children since 1965. During his undergraduate days at Frostburg State College in Maryland, Mr. Berry was student body president for two years, and was listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
He was awarded a Fellowship to the George Washington University in Washington D.C. where he received his M.A. Degree in Special Education.
Mr. Berry also worked and studied at Indiana University and the University of Illinois. While at Indiana University, Mr. Berry co-authored supplemental reading materials for Houton-Mifflin; Harper-Row; Macmillian; Ginn, Hold, Windston Rhinhart and other publishers. From 1969 to 1974 he traveled extensively throughout the United States as a reading consultant with Indiana University. And from 1974 to 1977 he was the Director of Education for Sunburst Youth Homes in Wisconsin, the largest residential child care agency in Wisconsin at that time.
Since buying The Scottsdale School in 1977, Mr. Berry has dedicated his life to enriching the lives of students in their early school years by sharing his passion for learning and through his dedication to the Word of God and teaching Bible truths.
